We transformed a tired old bus into a customised bakery on wheels. Sydney’s ONLY Pie Bus, located within the grounds of the Hardware and General site, New Line Road, Dural. The ribbon was cut and Bobby’s was officially declared open by Philip Ruddock, the Mayor of Hornsby Shire Council.
Bobby’s doors are open from 5am, 7 days a week, offering a wide selection of sweet and savoury pies, along with barista made hot coffee. Dog owners are welcome to bring their four-legged friends to enjoy a free tasty treat whilst their owners enjoy a weekend brunch, lunch or a quick fresh snack. A relaxing place for all to enjoy a break with freshly baked goods, straight from an old school bakehouse.
Bobby Bakehouse was brought to life in 2015 within the walls of Glenorie Bakery, Sydney, Australia. Introduced firstly to the world as the ‘The Pie Man', who chimes on the hour to announce the arrival of fresh pies. The venue's a stunning time-capsule of a bygone era that has his own mascot “Bobby”, his companion “Cupcakes” an old Ford Squire that accompanies Bobby on his adventures.
The PIE BUS which you see before you is known as Bobby Bakehouse the 2nd. It’s set in a time gone by and experience old school bakehouse for real. Bobby will continue to live on in the imaginations of all kids both little and big. It will definitely be bringing you some more fun and action in the years to come.
As the sun goes down, The Pie Bus will be transformed with hundreds of fairy lights, fire pits and blankets. Enjoy your favourite pie, coffee, dessert with some hip beats and old school muscle cars as far as the eye could see! Bobby Bakehouse will be trading until 10pm for once a month!
